I am the owner of True Touch Massage Therapy & Fitness and I am originally from New Brunswick, but have lived in Alberta since 2001.  I am a mother of two adult girls.  I was a Girl Guide leader for 3 yrs and have been on various committees including ECmap & Deer Valley Playground Committee, Board of Directors for the Leduc Regional Chamber of Commerce for almost 4 years, Leduc Downtown Business Association Board, St. Benedict’s Elementary School Board and the Leduc Arts Foundry Board.  I have also volunteered at various charity events in and around Leduc, coached sports teams, as well at St. Michael's Catholic Parish.

I graduated from NBCC Woodstock with a Diploma in Graphic Design in 2001, Early Childhood Education from Grant MacEwan University in 2004 and then later graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy with a 2200hr, Remedial Massage Therapy Diploma in 2008.  I have extra training in deep tissue massage from Schweitzer’s Deep Tissue Therapy, Pre/Postnatal Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone Massage, Reiki levels 1 & 2, pump, suction and fire Cupping Therapy Courses and completed an advanced Myofascial Therapy course in Santorini, Greece.

I have Fitness Theory, Aquatic Exercise, Resistance Training, Group Exercise, Step Aerobics, Cycle/Spin, Mind/Body, Portable Equipment as well as Ever Active Kids Certifications from the AFLCA. I am a Fitness Instructor Specialist and Personal Training Specialist through Canfitpro.  Extra courses I have taken are: Bender Ball, Moc Studio 54, Yoga Fusion, Tabata Training and Zumba Basics 1 and 2, Zumba Toning, Zumbatomic, Zumba Gold, Zumba Gold Toning, Zumba Kids, Zumba Glutes, Zumba Core, Zumba Step, Aqua Zumba, Circle Training and Strong Nation. I am also a certified in PoundPRO, Pound Unplugged and Generation Pound instructor. I have my 200HR Yoga Certifications in Yin and Vinyasa Yoga taken in Bali, Indonesia. I continue to teach 12-14 classes a week at True Touch,Telford Senior Center, and various elementary schools and community events.

I am a member of Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA), Provincial Fitness Unit of Alberta (AFLCA), canfitpro, Yoga Alliance, Leduc Chamber of Commerce and Leduc Downtown Business Association.
