Karma Yoga

The Karma Yoga class will be a Vinyasa Flow class for all levels. If you are new to yoga, or cannot touch your toes then you are PERFECT, exactly as you are, to try a Karma class. For all asana postures modifications will be offered to provide an individualized practice not always available in the larger studios. This class is ideal for the busy person who cannot seem to schedule in another task in the never ending list of to do’s. Yoga offers tools to manage and ease stress. With practice, over time, yoga can boost creativity and performance in the management of career, parenting, and home life; all while providing great health benefits; and aging with grace and vitality.

Karma Yoga is the perfect opportunity to warm up from the cold weather and do something healthy and rejuvenating for the most important person….YOU! The added bonus is that by attending you also support a charitable cause.

My time will be donated to a charity of the studio’s choice. In the past I have supported the following charities: Leduc Jr High School Breakfast Program, Thorsby High School Breakfast Program, Rise Up Society, Stollery (where my daughter works), and Ronald McDonald House.

I look forward to meeting you on the mat. Please wear comfy clothing, bring a yoga mat and water bottle. A yoga block is also recommended if you are like me and sometimes need help reaching your toes (or something on the top shelf of your kitchen cabinet). If you are new to yoga and need assistance with a mat or block, please notify the studio in advance.
